Fencing was installed at the Pines Parkway municipal access path in Long Point. This path was previously planted with native grasses and trees, with support from surrounding landowners. The vegetation assists in reducing wind blown sand to both the road and adjacent properties, in addition to building protection against storm surges and high water levels. The post and rope fencing directs visitors to the beach and protects the vegetation from being trampled. Once again, we thank LMP Excavation for their conscientious work installing post and rope, particularly on this chilly day.
